Overview

Our client, a leading media organization, is building a next-generation Data & AI platform to power advanced analytics, personalization, and AI-driven products. They are seeking a Full-Stack AI & Data Engineer to lead the development of end-to-end AI solutions.

This role will focus on designing and deploying production-grade AI/ML applications, including predictive analytics, personalization systems, and LLM-powered applications. The ideal candidate will have strong experience across AI/ML, data engineering, cloud infrastructure, and full-stack application development, enabling them to build scalable AI systems from data pipelines to end-user interfaces.


Key Responsibilities

Full-Stack AI Application Development

  • Design and maintain robust APIs using Node.js, NestJS, or FastAPI

  • Build intuitive user interfaces using React or similar frameworks to make AI tools accessible to non-technical users

  • Develop, fine-tune, and deploy machine learning models using frameworks such as PyTorch and Scikit-learn

LLM & RAG Development

  • Implement generative AI solutions, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines

  • Develop and optimize prompts and LLM workflows for production applications

Agentic AI Systems

  • Build autonomous AI agents capable of multi-step reasoning and tool calling

  • Utilize frameworks such as LangChain and MCP servers to orchestrate advanced AI workflows

Production MLOps & Observability

  • Implement monitoring for LLM drift, latency, reliability, and hallucination detection

  • Ensure enterprise-grade reliability and performance of deployed models

Data Engineering

  • Design and maintain ELT/ETL pipelines using Python, SQL, and orchestration tools such as Airflow

  • Ensure strong data quality, governance, and scalability

Data Platform Integration

  • Manage data workflows and model deployments within Snowflake, leveraging Snowpark or Cortex as appropriate

Cloud Infrastructure

  • Deploy and maintain scalable systems using Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines

  • Support deployments across AWS, GCP, or Azure

Analytics & Business Collaboration

  • Partner with stakeholders to translate complex data into actionable insights and business solutions


Required Qualifications

Full-Stack Engineering

  • 5+ years of experience across the full stack, including Node.js, Python, and modern web frameworks (React/NestJS)

Data Engineering Expertise

  • Strong experience building ELT/ETL pipelines

  • Advanced SQL skills and experience working with Snowflake and Snowpark

Generative AI

  • Proven experience deploying LLM-based applications in production

  • Experience with prompt engineering, RAG architectures, and generative AI workflows

AI / Machine Learning

  • 5+ years working with machine learning lifecycle management (MLOps), NLP, or deep learning

DevOps & Infrastructure

  • Experience with Terraform or Infrastructure-as-Code

  • Strong understanding of cloud-based AI infrastructure and automated testing frameworks


Nice to Have

Mobile Development

  • Experience building cross-platform mobile apps with React Native or Flutter

Mobile Architecture

  • Experience designing mobile UI/UX and integrating REST or GraphQL APIs

App Store Deployment

  • Experience managing App Store and Google Play releases, including mobile CI/CD pipelines

Security & Authentication

  • Experience implementing OAuth2, biometric authentication, and secure on-device data encryption


Leadership & Collaboration

  • Mentor junior engineers on AI ethics, data governance, and engineering best practices

  • Comfortable working across AI innovation and practical data engineering challenges

  • Strong collaboration with product, analytics, and engineering teams




The projected hourly range for this position is $80 to $100.
