Position Overview:
Focus areas include software upgrades, system implementations, and infrastructure enhancements. This role involves collaborating with organizational stakeholders to evaluate business processes, identify needs, and translate them into clear system requirements while supporting solution design, testing, and deployment to ensure alignment with business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Analysis & Requirements Management:
- Conduct technical analysis and system assessments to support decision-making and ensure compatibility with existing IT environments
- Gather and document business and technical requirements, translating them into actionable project plans and system specifications
- Define IT requirements with project stakeholders and document current/new business processes as needed
- Ensure strong understanding of various components/elements of system applications
Project Leadership & Coordination:
- Lead small projects involving other analysts, technical staff, and business staff
- Engage appropriate IT and business subject matter experts to work on the project as necessary
- Coordinate system/user acceptance testing and lead user acceptance testing activities
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously
Change Management & Implementation:
- Develop and execute structured business readiness and change management strategies to support smooth transitions and user adoption
- Be accountable for the implementation and quality of key IT business deliverables
- Ensure project adherence to organizational IT policies, standards, and processes
Communication & Collaboration:
- Collaborate effectively with both business and technical teams, individually and in groups
- Communicate analysis and design concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences through written documentation and presentations
- Encourage teamwork and collaboration across functions
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business analysis, including process analysis, modeling, and data analysis
- Minimum 5 years of experience soliciting business and system requirements
- Proven ability to lead user acceptance testing
- Valid state-issued driver's license and reliable transportation for commuting between job sites and office locations
- Intermediate skill level using Visio
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience leading small projects involving cross-functional teams
- Experience working on multiple projects simultaneously
- Formal training in data and process modeling
- Experience preparing and evaluating Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for information technology initiatives
- Experience planning and conducting software quality assurance/testing
