Job Title: Senior Network Engineer

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field
  • In lieu of a degree, ten years of IT related experience in roles of increasing network responsibilities


Experience:

  • 6 years of experience or more as a Network Engineer
  • Proven track record of leading complex network projects
  • Experience troubleshooting network system issues and exposure to balancing network capacity through bandwidth and network analysis


Technical Requirements:

  • Functional or educational knowledge of network systems design and implementation from configuration to network administration
  • Understanding of technical infrastructure to include system management, monitoring, and operations
  • One of the following Advanced Cisco Certifications: CCNP, CCIE, CCAR, or CCDA
  • Experience in Multicast routing
  • Experience with SD-WAN solutions
  • Experience working with AZURE AWS cloud networking
  • Experience with Cisco ISE

Desired Skills:
  • Hands on experience with automation tools, such as Ansible, Python scripting


General Responsibilities:

  • Leads the design and implementation of complex network solutions to meet business requirements
  • Develops and enforces network policies and procedures to ensure the security and integrity of the network
  • Provides mentorship and guidance to junior network engineers and analysts
  • Oversee the integration of new technologies and solutions into the existing network infrastructure
  • Manages large-scale network projects, including planning, execution and delivery
  • Conducts advanced network performance analysis and optimization
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement network strategies
  • Ensures compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
  • Develops and maintains disaster recovery plans for network infrastructure
  • Evaluates and recommends new networking technologies and solutions
  • Work with Team to complete highly technical projects as well as addressing complex support issues reported by automated monitoring or through [Client] ticketing process


The projected hourly range for this position is $90 to $95.
