Job Description:
CRM Enterprise Companion Project Manager:
- In partnership with functional area lead and CRM implementation partner and CRM vendor(s), maintain project plan, provide status reports, and work with systems and campus project teams to identify and manage CRM project risks, issues, and change orders.
- Create a roadmap of dependencies, sequencing, and integrated timeline of Student adjacent projects (CRM, alignment initiatives, IAM, data lake, faculty workload management, etc.) to assist PMO in Workday Student project planning
Obligations
The CRM Enterprise Companion Project Manager will be responsible for working with CRM implementation partner, CRM vendor(s) and CRM implementation team to:
- Oversee the CRM implementation project
- Establish and maintain agile and waterfall project plans.
- Create, maintain, and manage change orders impacting scope, resources, or budget.
- Provide support and team leadership to have the project staff complete tasks on time.
- Facilitate project planning and check-in meetings.
- Track and communicate project status reports or presentations to stakeholders and executives.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to create impactful reporting on behalf of the organization.
- Document and proactively manage project risks, issues, assumptions, decisions, and dependencies.
- This individual will work with the system office academic and student affairs division, CRM functional lead, campuses, implementation partner/vendor(s) on detailed project plans with milestones.
- This individual will be required to follow policies, guidelines, and procedures.
- Facilitate planning discussions with technical and business teams within and external
- Capture and record meeting notes and ensure action items are completed promptly.
- Effectively balance the needs of the client, team, timeline, and solution scope.
- In preparation for this work, create an ecosystem map of Student adjacent projects, including CRM
Required Skills
Candidates submitted by respondents must have the following skills:
- Two (2) engagements as a project manager
- Five (5) years of technology project management or leadership
- Three (3) years of proven ability to prioritize work in a high-pressure stressful environment
Desired Skills
The following skills are desired for candidates submitted by respondents:
- Three (3) years of experience working in public higher education environment at a system or campus level
- Experience with CRM implementation or management
- A strong understanding of student success technology integration
The projected hourly range for this position is $80 to $85.
