Job Title: Enterprise Architect
Job Location: Remote 
Job Type: Direct Hire, FTE 

What you will do:

  • Develop custom applications to solve internal business challenges, such as intake forms and workflows for business processes.
  • Define requirements and technology platforms to facilitate integrations between key business platforms and systems (e.g., ERP, CRM).
  • Define and manage system architecture and configuration for on-premises and SaaS solutions (e.g., ERP).
  • Lead technology evaluation and selection efforts, including defining requirements, assessing tools and vendors, and running proof of concepts (POCs).
  • Incorporate security controls, data privacy, scalability, and resiliency into all solutions.
  • Ensure systems meet performance expectations and disaster recovery standards.
  • Assure data consistency, interoperability, and information flow across systems.
  • Produce and maintain system documentation, including requirements documentation, system diagrams, and process maps.
  • Support solution lifecycle planning, from design through decommissioning.
  • Act as a bridge between technical teams and business units to ensure a shared understanding of goals, outcomes, and constraints.
  • Coordinate with key teams on the hand-off of systems to product owners and facilitate end-user support requirements.
  • Mentor System Analysts, Solution Architects, and other technical staff on architecture best practices.
  • Translate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Develop comprehensive training materials to support go-live and ongoing technology initiatives.

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, software engineering, or a related field
  • Master’s Degree (preferred) in a relevant field, such as enterprise architecture, business administration, or information systems
  • Proven experience in enterprise architecture, system design, and technology evaluation, ensuring that they can effectively define and manage system architecture and configuration for both on-premises and SaaS solutions.
  • A deep understanding of system and data security principles, enabling them to incorporate security controls, data privacy, scalability, and resiliency into all solutions.
  • The ability to act as a bridge between technical teams and business units, translating complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, and ensuring a shared understanding of goals, outcomes, and constraints.
  • The capability to mentor System Analysts, Solution Architects, and other technical staff on architecture best practices, and to lead technology evaluation and selection efforts, including defining requirements, assessing tools and vendors, and running proof of concepts (POCs).
  • 3-5 years of hand-on experience as an Enterprise Architect with a focus on developing and delivering enterprise-wide solutions that align with business goals. (preferred)
  • Professional certifications such as TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework), ArchiMate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Certified ScrumMaster or SAFe Architect, or other relevant certifications. (preferred)
  • Deep experience designing and implementing enterprise-grade applications and integrations. (preferred)
  • Strong hands-on background with application development frameworks including RESTful APIs, even-drive and microservice architectures, Java, Node.js, and others. (preferred)
  • Analytical and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to balance business needs with technical constraints. (preferred)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills. (preferred)

The projected salary for this position is $100,000- $130,000
