Role overview
The Solution Architect III supports the high-level architecture, functionality, economics, and architecture compliance of solution options for the Global Impact (Sustainability & Communications) portfolio.
In this role, the architect develops solution architecture at the project and small-portfolio level, partnering with other architects, global and regional teams, and business subject matter experts. The role requires strong technical and functional design skills across architecture domains and current best practices.
- Maintain knowledge of relevant industry trends.
- Review current projects and architecture solutions to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and financial targets.
- Provide consultation for:
- Business process design
- Business intelligence design
- Software development architecture
- Application frameworks and interfaces
- Develop and maintain solution architecture by:
- Leading solution definition
- Conducting solution architecture reviews
- Supporting solution selection efforts
- Ensuring adherence to architectural processes, team plans, and strategy
- Independently handle issues with minimal supervision, escalating only the most complex items as needed.
Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of related work experience.
- Demonstrated ability to:
- Translate business needs into solution architecture requirements
- Apply multiple technical solutions to business problems
- Estimate the financial impact of solution architecture alternatives
- Experience developing integrated solutions involving process, data, and technology.
- Experience in architecture and collaboration with regional and global project teams to define business requirements and deliver solutions that meet business goals.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in business strategy development.
- Strong project management, planning, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of all components of enterprise architecture.
The projected hourly range for this position is $36 to $42.
