Overview
The Technical Platform Lead is a technology leadership role responsible for enterprise integration capabilities and the enablement of data platforms that support the organization’s business and data strategy. This role leads internal Integration Engineers, contractor resources, and third-party managed services that collectively design, build, and support integrations across Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Boomi, and Microsoft Azure-based technologies.
In addition to integration platform leadership, this role partners closely with Data, Master Data Management, Analytics, Infrastructure, and business stakeholders to enable reliable, scalable, and governed data movement across the enterprise and to external partners. The Integration Platform Lead also plays a key role in vendor management, software platform stewardship, and data migration activities supporting mergers and acquisitions (M&A).
This position reports to the VP of Infrastructure and collaborates with global counterparts, including APi International integration and data teams.

Key Responsibilities
Integration Platform Leadership
  • Lead and evolve enterprise integration platforms, including Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Boomi, and Azure-based integration services.
  • Define and maintain target-state integration and data movement architecture in alignment with enterprise standards and business strategy.
  • Ensure integration capabilities support both operational system connectivity and enterprise data needs.
Data Platform Enablement
  • Partner with Data and Analytics teams to enable data ingestion, movement, and distribution across Azure-based data platforms, including enterprise data lakes.
  • Support integration patterns that enable data platforms such as Databricks and downstream data consumers, including applications and external partners.
  • Contribute to the execution of the broader enterprise data strategy through strong collaboration and architectural alignment.
People, Vendor & Managed Service Leadership
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Integration Engineers, including employees and contractors.
  • Oversee multiple contractors from different vendor organizations, serving as the primary point of contact for vendor account representatives.
  • Provide oversight and direction for a third-party managed service (approximately 3–5 resources) responsible for data migration activities in support of M&A initiatives.
  • Ensure vendor-delivered solutions meet enterprise standards for quality, security, performance, and reliability.
Platform & Software Vendor Management
  • Own and manage key platform vendor relationships, including:
    • Boomi (software licensing, support, roadmap alignment)
    • Oracle Integration Cloud (platform usage, support, and strategic engagement)
  • Ensure platforms are used effectively, cost-efficiently, and in alignment with enterprise needs.
Solution Architecture & Delivery
  • Provide architectural guidance and design oversight for integration and data movement solutions across application and data domains.
  • Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, resilient, and supportable.
  • Translate business, application, and data requirements into effective technical designs.
Production Support & Service Management
  • Serve as the escalation point for integration and data pipeline incidents impacting business operations.
  • Ensure appropriate monitoring, alerting, and operational support processes are in place.
  • Partner with Infrastructure, Security, and Service Management teams to meet service-level expectations.
Governance, Risk & Compliance
  • Own IT SOX controls for integration and data movement platforms & processes.
  • Support audit readiness, documentation, and control processes related to integration platforms and vendor-delivered services.
  • Promote consistent standards, governance, and lifecycle management across integrations.
Cross-Functional & Global Collaboration
  • Collaborate closely with APi International integration and data teams to align architecture, standards, and operating models.
  • Act as a key liaison between Infrastructure, Data, Analytics, Application, and M&A stakeholders.
  • Influence enterprise-wide decisions related to integration, data enablement, and vendor strategy.

Required Qualifications
  • Experience leading enterprise integration platforms such as Boomi, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), and Azure-based integration services.
  • Proven experience leading technical teams, including employees, contractors, and/or managed services.
  • Demonstrated experience with vendor and account management, including coordination across multiple service providers and software vendors.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns, APIs, messaging, and system-to-system connectivity.
  • Experience supporting production environments, incident management, and service management processes.
  • Experience operating in SOX-controlled environments.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Qualifications
  • Experience enabling or supporting enterprise data platforms, including Azure-based data lakes (e.g., ADF, Synapse).
  • Exposure to Databricks and patterns for ingesting data into analytics platforms and delivering data to downstream consumers.
  • Experience supporting data migration initiatives, including those related to mergers and acquisitions (M&A).
  • Enterprise SaaS platforms: e.g., Oracle SaaS ecosystems (ERP/HCM/FSM/CPQ/EDM), Microsoft Dynamics, GEP.
  • Backlog tools: Azure DevOps (ADO) for epic/feature/story tracking and sprint coordination.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, or other relevant programming languages.
  • Reporting platforms (e.g., Power BI, Oracle BI tools).
  • Familiarity with Master Data Management concepts and data governance practices.
  • Experience working in global enterprise environments.

The projected hourly range for this position is $80 to $110.
