Job Description:
Leading the design, development and ops of enterprise data engineering and core data warehouse. This role oversees data integration, transformation and movement across cloud and on-premises platforms. Tech lead of team of software devs and data engineers across experience levels and partners closely with source system and analytics teams to ensure data reliability and accessibility. The team provides 24/7 operational support for headquarters and global facilities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 7+ yrs experience as Data Engineer, ETL Dev, Data Architect or Database Adminstrator
- 4+ yrs experience specifically with ETL and data warehousing
- 4+ yrs experience in a mgr or technical leadership role
- Strong knowledge of databases and performance monitoring/mgmt. tools
- Experience in data warehousing techniques, design and best practices
- Knowledge of data lake/lakehouse concepts
- Experience with cloud data platforms
- Knowledge and technical skills in ETL techniques and tooling
- Strong organizational skills required
- Excellent written and verbal skills required
- High attention to detail required
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent technical writing skills
- Ability to lead through change and drive continuous improvement
The projected hourly range for this position is $70 to $75.
