Job Description:
Seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead a high-impact enterprise data platform integration initiative.
This role will partner closely with Data Engineering, BI/Analytics, Data Science, and Architecture teams to align and integrate multiple data environments.
- Lead planning and execution of the enterprise data platform integration program
- Establish and manage timelines, milestones, dependencies, and risks across multiple workstreams
- Coordinate the integration of Azure/Databricks and AWS-native environments into a unified future-state platform
- Manage parallel platform operations while legacy environments are gradually sunset
- Partner with technical leaders (Data Engineering, Architecture, Platform) to ensure alignment and delivery
- Drive cross-functional communication across distributed teams and business stakeholders
- Utilize tools like Jira to track progress, manage workflows, and ensure transparency
- Focus first 60 days on building structure:
- Program roadmap
- Milestones and governance
- Stakeholder alignment
Required Experience
- Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager leading large-scale enterprise data or platform initiatives
- Strong understanding of modern data platforms and data engineering concepts
- (e.g., data warehousing, medallion architecture, semantic models, analytics platforms)
- Experience managing complex migrations, integrations, or modernization efforts
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and business audiences
- Experience working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
- Proficiency with Jira or similar project management tools
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working across multi-cloud environments (Azure + AWS)
- Familiarity with Databricks and AWS-native data stacks
- Exposure to enterprise-scale data platform integrations
- Experience supporting M&A or post-acquisition integration efforts
- Ability to quickly learn and translate business domain concepts into technical execution plans
