Looking for a motivated Software Engineer with 3–5 years of hands-on experience to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate is proficient in full-stack web development with strong experience in Node.js and React, has practical experience building and deploying Azure Function Apps (serverless architecture), is comfortable with DevOps practices (CI/CD, containerization, cloud infrastructure), and has exposure to AI-based development (integrating LLMs, AI APIs, or building intelligent features into applications).
Working alongside talented, cross-functional teams, you'll design and build scalable cloud-native applications while harnessing the latest advances in AI and automation — creating products that positively impact thousands every single day. This is your opportunity to build technology that matters.
Key Responsibilities
– Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using Node.js (backend) and React (frontend).
– Build, deploy, and monitor serverless functions using Azure Function Apps.
– Develop and maintain RESTful APIs / microservices for internal and external consumption.
– Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools) to streamline build, test, and deployment processes.
– Containerize applications using Docker and support deployment on cloud infrastructure (Azure preferred).
– Integrate AI/ML capabilities into applications — e.g., using OpenAI/Azure OpenAI APIs, LangChain, or similar frameworks — to build intelligent features (chatbots, recommendation engines, automation, etc.).
– Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following best practices.
– Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers in an Agile/Scrum environment.
– Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and technical discussions.
– Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize for scalability and reliability.
– Stay current with emerging technologies, especially in AI and cloud-native development, and proactively suggest improvements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
– 3–5 years of professional software development experience.
– Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, with hands-on experience in Node.js for backend development.
– Solid experience building responsive, component-based UIs using React (Hooks, Context API, state management libraries like Redux/Zustand).
– Practical experience developing and deploying Azure Function Apps and working with the Azure serverless ecosystem (Azure Storage, Cosmos DB, API Management, etc.).
– Working knowledge of DevOps tools and practices: CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), containerization (Docker), and infrastructure automation.
– Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar CI/CD platforms.
– Exposure to AI-based development — integrating APIs such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Hugging Face, or building applications using LLMs, embeddings, vector databases, or prompt engineering.
– Familiarity with RESTful API design and integration.
– Understanding of relational(SQL server), NoSQL (preferably Redis) as well as Data Lakehouse platforms (preferably Databricks) .
– Good understanding of software design principles, testing practices (unit/integration testing), and version control workflows.
– Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
The projected hourly range for this position is $70 to $78.
