Overview
This role supports a centralized Project Management Office (PMO) within a retail grocery environment undergoing continuous infrastructure modernization. The position leads in-store infrastructure projects, coordinating hardware installs across store locations and ensuring rollouts are completed smoothly without disrupting operations.
This is a high-autonomy, high-trust environment. The right candidate will own projects end-to-end, operate independently, and drive steady progress in a busy stakeholder environment.
Responsibilities:
• Lead 2–3 concurrent infrastructure projects, managing each at both a detailed task level and a rolled-up executive level.
• Coordinate in-store hardware installations with operations teams and store leadership to ensure seamless, low-disruption rollouts.
• Own the financial management of each project — statements of work (SOWs), invoicing, and procurement.
• Manage and hold accountable third-party hardware and installation vendors.
• Proactively chase down dependencies, escalate blockers in a timely manner, and drive momentum regardless of competing priorities.
• Communicate status clearly and consistently with business stakeholders.
Requirements:
• Seasoned, senior-level project management experience leading projects front-to-end with minimal oversight.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
• Strong financial management skills: SOWs, invoicing, procurement, and third-party vendor management.
• Experience with infrastructure / install-type projects.
• Proficiency with Clarity (PPM tool); familiarity with Smartsheet.
• PMP certification or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Retail industry background.
• Working familiarity with Jira (utility-level understanding; deep expertise not required).

The projected hourly range for this position is $80 to $90.
