Job Title: Cybersecurity Project Manager
Job Type: Contract
Job Location: Primarily Remote
Overview
Join the Cybersecurity Resilience organization to lead implementation-focused technology and security initiatives supporting retail and grocery locations. This Project Manager will oversee projects involving Identity and Access Management, enterprise badge and physical-access systems, infrastructure, and Microsoft Azure.
The role requires a delivery-oriented Project Manager who can coordinate technical teams, retail stakeholders, business groups, and organizational communications across a large enterprise. Although the position is primarily remote, occasional travel to stores will be required to support planning, implementation, and rollout activities.
Responsibilities:
• Lead Enterprise Implementations: Manage the full lifecycle of complex IAM, badge-system, infrastructure, and Azure-related projects, from discovery and planning through deployment and stabilization.
• Manage IAM and Access-System Initiatives: Coordinate requirements, integrations, testing, rollout sequencing, and implementation activities for identity, badge, and physical-access solutions.
• Coordinate Infrastructure and Azure Dependencies: Work with infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, application, and support teams to identify dependencies and keep technical workstreams aligned.
• Support Retail and Store Rollouts: Develop implementation plans for retail locations, including pilot activities, store readiness, deployment schedules, issue management, and occasional onsite support.
• Drive Change Management: Incorporate change-management activities into project plans to support adoption across stores, corporate functions, and other impacted business groups.
• Partner with Communications: Work closely with the organizational communications team to develop clear, appropriately timed communications for associates, leaders, technical teams, and business stakeholders.
• Manage Cross-Functional Stakeholders: Build alignment among the PMO, cybersecurity organization, retail leadership, store operations, infrastructure teams, vendors, and other business groups.
• Maintain Project Governance: Own project schedules, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, decisions, and action items. Escalate concerns early and provide clear recommendations to leadership.
• Provide Executive Reporting: Deliver concise status updates and leadership callouts covering implementation progress, resource constraints, decisions, risks, and upcoming milestones.
• Support Operational Transition: Ensure completed implementations are documented, adopted, and successfully transitioned to the appropriate operational and support teams.
Requirements:
• Proven Project Management experience leading complex, enterprise-scale technology implementations.
• Experience managing projects involving Identity and Access Management, badge or physical-access systems, or related identity and security technologies.
• Experience delivering infrastructure and Microsoft Azure initiatives.
• Strong implementation background, including planning, requirements coordination, testing, deployment, risk management, and post-launch stabilization.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple technical and business workstreams within a large organization.
• Strong stakeholder-management skills and the ability to influence teams without direct authority.
• Experience developing project-level communications and working with communications or organizational-change teams.
• Strong written, verbal, and executive-level reporting skills.
• Ability to work primarily remotely and travel occasionally to retail locations as project needs require.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience supporting technology implementations in a retail, grocery, store, or other multi-location environment.
• Cybersecurity project or program management experience.
• Experience integrating identity systems with badge, physical-access, infrastructure, cloud, or enterprise application environments.
• Organizational change-management experience, particularly for initiatives affecting a large and geographically distributed workforce.
• Experience coordinating pilots and phased deployments across multiple locations.
• Familiarity with enterprise PMO governance, reporting standards, and delivery methodologies.
